Who I Am

Who am I?

To some degree, I am still trying to figure that out.

I think we all are.

That is part of what life is all about, isn’t it?

What is life all about?

Love and Discovery.

Love of God and love of people.

Discovery of God and discovery of who you are.

So who am I?

I guess we’ll see.

Here are some basics….what I know right now.

I am Jody. I am young, with my whole life ahead of me. I am learning how to love God and love people. I am a child of God, no matter how many mistakes I have made in my past and no matter how many mistakes I will make in the future. If there is any good in me-any good qualities-it is only because of the Lord. On my own, I don’t have much to give.

What am I doing? Well for now, I am an intern with Thrive Africa, a Christian ministry in South Africa. I am here for most of 2008. What will I do after this year? I am dying to know and to be certain, but the Lord already has it all planned out. Whatever it is, I am already excited about it! I trust that He will lead me in the next step, whatever and wherever it may be.
